HomeDramatic drone footage shows Scotland at its very best
By Oliver Smith
Holiday snaps just can’t compete with drone footage.
Vadim Sherbakov and Ludmila Tregoub recently returned from a four-month trip around Europe, and have these incredible clips to show for it.
Shot using a quadcopter, it features a mixture of rural and urban landscapes in Scotland, Italy and Russia.
The Dolomites appear, with shots of the Passo Giau and the Paso Valparola, as does the Old Man of Storr on the Isle of Skye, Glenfinnan Viaduct (of Harry Potter fame), the Flooded Belfry on the Volga River near Kalyazin, Russia, and the Italian Cinque Terre town of Manarola.
The hilltop town of Cita di Bagnoregio, around 75 miles north of Rome, also features, as well as Rome itself, and Moscow’s imposing State University.
Your smartphone selfies will look pretty pedestrian in comparison.
