DRONES are normally seen hovering in the air, not in our bushes.

But Cheddar resident Vic Spark found a £40 model stuck in one of the bushes surrounding The Homestead sheltered living complex on Union Street this morning.

Vic said: “I suspect the owner lost control or it ran out of battery or something and it’s gone into the hedge.

“There’s lights round each side of it so it seems quite good. If it was flying at night, it would look like a flying saucer.

“It would be great if we could get it back to its rightful owner.”

The finder is right: The JJRC H8C drone wouldn’t have strayed any further than 80m from its owner before losing control. Plus, it only has a flight time of eight minutes.
